As an Accounting and Data Services (ADS)Sr ClientConsultantyou willbe responsible fortheaccounting/reportingcomponentofkeyclient relationships.The ADS Client Consultant serves as the clients main point of contact forreporting communicationmanages small projectsevaluates and leads process improvement initiativesparticipatesin client meetings tracks KPIsandmaintains internal documentation. Consultants are also assigned to New/Additional Business events and will serve as theADSlead throughout the transition.
Acts as first point of reference for client inquiries
Providesaccounting consulting guidance both internally and externally
Serves as a liaison to related areasand helpsfacilitatemonthly close cycle
Carries outcomplex extensivehigh-profileactivitiese.g.direct interaction withtop revenue clientsand more senior management
High level oftechnical and reporting knowledge building toward becoming a subject matter expert
Working Model: Hybrid
We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field
Strong working knowledge of reporting andproducts
Client facing experience with the ability to present detailed concepts
Excellent oral and written communication
Provenanalytical consultative andproblem-solvingskills
Organized and able to manage time and meet deadlines
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Mustresidein or near Chicago and be able to report into the office three times weekly (Choice of days is flexible)
Willing to travel to client visits(<10% travel)
Salary Range:
$74700 - 126900 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
