The University of Miamis College of Arts and Sciences has an exciting opportunity for a full time Sr. Classroom Assistant to work in Miami FL.

The Sr. Classroom Assistant will work in the Linda Ray Intervention Center as a member of the centers Multidisciplinary Educational team providing training screening evaluation and interventions to young children with disabilities or developmental delays primarily from underserved communities.

Core responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Teachers in the implementation of academic and recreational activities within the classroom
• Provide support to students in participation in all camp activities

Core Qualifications:

• High school diploma and/or GED
• Three years of relevant work experience
• Some experience working with children is preferred (including tutoring babysitting etc.)

Any relevant education certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
