The American Heart Association has an opportunity for a Sr. Business Development Manager Corporate Training Solutions. This position can be home-based.

The Senior Business Development Manager is a player-coach responsible for accelerating the growth of the American Heart Associations corporate CPR First Aid AED and workplace safety training solutions. This role manages a team of four Business Development Managers while maintaining direct responsibility for strategic account acquisition business development and revenue generation.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader who excels at winning new business developing talent and building strategic partnerships. They combine strong leadership capabilities with a passion for growing revenue and expanding access to lifesaving training solutions.

• Lead and develop a team of four Business Development Managers driving performance accountability and professional growth.
• Serve as a player-coach by managing key enterprise accounts and personally contributing to revenue goals.
• Identify pursue and close new corporate partnerships for CPR First Aid AED and workplace safety training programs.
• Build relationships with executive decision-makers across HR Learning & Development Safety Risk Management and Operations.
• Develop and execute sales strategies that expand market share and increase customer retention.
• Manage pipeline health forecasting contract negotiations and strategic account planning.
• Partner with marketing product and customer success teams to drive demand generation customer adoption and long-term growth.

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of business development enterprise sales or strategic account management experience.
• Experience with sales leadership or team management.
• Ability to successfully lead high-performing teams while achieving individual sales targets.
• Strong consultative selling negotiation coaching and executive relationship management skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory including daily travel to partner sites and stakeholders (approximately 70-80%) with occasional overnight travel (approximately 10%).

The expected pay range will be$100000 to $115000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
