Description:
The Business Unit Analyst serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and the HRTS development team. This role is responsible for gathering analyzing documenting and validating business and technical requirements to support enhancements and maintenance of the Hospital Reporting Tracking System (HRTS). The analyst works closely with business units to understand operational needs translate those needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria and manage work items through Azure DevOps.

Description:
The Business Unit Analyst serves as the liaison between business stakeholders and the HRTS development team. This role is responsible for gathering analyzing documenting and validating business and technical requirements to support enhancements and maintenance of the Hospital Reporting Tracking System (HRTS). The analyst works closely with business units to understand operational needs translate those needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria and manage work items through Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to gather analyze and document business requirements.
- Create and manage user stories tasks and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to define business needs and prioritize enhancements.
- Work with developers testers and project managers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate completed functionality.
- Support implementation and integration of US SAFR between hospitals and HRTS.
- Document business processes workflows and system changes.
- Provide production support issue analysis and recommendations for system improvements.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status risks and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement of HRTS functionality and business processes.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools.
- Experience with healthcare information systems hospital workflows or health IT integrations.
- Strong analytical communication facilitation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
