About the team and role:

Parts & Accessories (P&A) is one of the most strategic and largest categories within eBay. The US represents eBays largest P&A market globally and is a critical driver of long-term growth.

Senior Associate Strategic Initiatives US P&A will report to and partner closely with the GM US Parts & Accessories to drive growth for eBays P&A business in the US. This individual will own some of the most critical initiatives in the US business through dotted-line and matrix leadership.

The role demands a dual approach: a strategic leader who understands two-sided marketplaces and breaks down complex problems clearly. This leader operates well in ambiguity and has strong data intuition. It also needs an operator who moves quickly decisively and isnt afraid to roll up their sleeves.

What you will accomplish:

• Identify and execute opportunities across the P&A business
• Drive progress against milestones for key strategic initiatives
• Create operational consistency processes and alignment across the portfolio
• Establish processes and guardrails to ensure operational success
• Build and own executive-ready presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners; ensure alignment with other teams

What you will bring:

• Strong analytical and strategy skills including structured thinking synthesizing distilling key insights from data conducting research and creating a compelling storyline/ narrative
• High degree of ownership and commitment to results self-motivated
• Executive level verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present compelling narratives backed by data and research
• Ability to operate in a small nimble and impactful team
• Ambition to grow professionally and willingness to work hard learn/adapt and provide feedback both upward and to peer teams

Requirements

• 3 years of related experience including 2 years at a top-tier management consulting firm investment bank or in a strategy role at a major corporation
• Strong SQL proficiency preferred
• Interest and/or experience in Motors and e-commerce a plus but not required
• BA/BS required MBA or similar graduate degree preferred

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
