Job Description:

The Sr. Analyst Strategic Initiatives role will be an integral part of the Strategic Finance team working to execute OneOncologys growth strategy with new practice partners evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities within its existing portfolio of practices and assess key corporate value levers across a wide array of functions.

This will be a dynamic role which requires a multi-dimensional skillset including the ability to manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously perform detailed analysis and communicate effectively with team leaders and company management. The individual should be a highly motivated self-starter detail-oriented comfortable asking questions and able to work in ambiguous environments.

The role will provide exciting growth opportunities for personal and career development within a high- growth healthcare company with frequent exposure to executive and practice leadership. While the individual will work primarily within the Strategic Finance team the role will interface directly with a diverse array of functions including FP&A/accounting business development and operations. OneOncology is growing rapidly and adding multiple new practices each year. The Strategic Finance team is at the center of realizing our growth expectations.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed analysis of key strategic projects including capital projects practice growth opportunities and service line expansion; collaborate closely with Operations and Commercial Operations teams to incorporate market research and practice specific inputs into the projections.

Build and maintain financial models to support transaction deliverables financial plans and strategies often for projects with few precedent examples.

Analyze financial information and operational data across various service lines in the OneOncology network (e.g. radiation diagnostic imaging lab) to identify performance variances and areas for operational and financial improvement.

Evaluate requests from practice partners for capital expenditure funding including developing models to determine financial impact.

Assist with development of financial models for bespoke transaction structures for our partner practices including mergers between practices partnerships with hospitals and other nuanced opportunities.

Maintain internal trackers of upcoming / ongoing projects to be shared with key stakeholders on a regular basis.

Synthesize and summarize pertinent findings and recommendations for various key internal stakeholders including Strategic Finance leadership and Regional Vice Presidents on the Operations team.

Contribute frequently to the preparation of materials for presentation to our Executive Investment Committee.

Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree required.

At least 1-3 years of work experience.

Transaction advisory consulting corporate M&A/finance or investment banking experience strongly preferred

Healthcare services related experience strongly preferred but not required

Location in Nashville required

Essential Competencies:

Strong analytical communication and presentation skills.

Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to analyze and diligence information from various data sources.

Demonstrates a strong interest in healthcare services with a focus on operational improvement performance optimization and value creation beyond traditional transaction driven work.

Strong academic performance.

Understand fundamental GAAP and financial concepts.

Data mining and modeling capabilities.

Must be able to work in a fast growing rapidly evolving business often with multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects and communicating with various stakeholders simultaneously.
