This role reports directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and will have a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting
.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and maintain reporting packages variance analyses and supporting documentation for executive leadership private equity ownership lenders and other key stakeholders.
- Calculate review reconcile and analyze sales commissions and incentive compensation programs ensuring accurate payments proper accruals and compliance with approved compensation plans.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Assist with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of the organization
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Experience with other financial systems NetSuite experience preferred
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- FX experience;foreign exchange
- Detailed and accurate data entry
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat with significant experience in MS Excel
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
