As a Sr Account Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific you will increase revenue by developing and managing strategic customer relationships across our diverse portfolio of scientific products and solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers using your scientific expertise and consultative sales approach to help them advance critical research development and manufacturing initiatives. You will collaborate with technical specialists product managers and support teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that enable customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree plus 35 years of commercial account management business development applications or technical sales experience supporting laboratory automation solutions within pharmaceutical biotechnology CRO/CDMO academic or research environments.

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences Chemistry Physics Engineering or related scientific field

  • Direct experience with or strong working knowledge of laboratory automation scheduling and orchestration software including platforms such as Thermo Scientific Momentum Workflow Scheduling Software Biosero Green Button Go (GBG) and HighRes Biosolutions Cellario.

  • Understanding of how automation software integrates robotics liquid handlers analytical instruments plate readers incubators sample storage systems and other laboratory devices into coordinated and scalable workflows.

  • Experience identifying customer workflow challenges and developing integrated solutions involving automation hardware software instrumentation services and implementation.

  • Ability to engage effectively with scientists automation engineers laboratory operations IT/informatics teams procurement and senior decision-makers throughout the sales process.

  • Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder opportunities involving lab automation workflow integration scheduling software and professional services.

  • Familiarity with Digital Science and laboratory informatics solutions is a plus including familiarity with platforms such as Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS STARLIMS LabVantage LIMS Benchling or similar LIMS/ELN solutions.

  • Familiarity with broader digital laboratory technologies such as LIMS ELN SDMS laboratory data management instrument connectivity APIs cloud solutions and system integration is preferred but not required.

  • Familiarity with regulated laboratory environments including GxP 21 CFR Part 11 validation and data integrity requirements is also a plus.

  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel up to 50-75% as needed

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $95000.00$142475.00.
