Job Summary
The SQL Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL databases creating and optimizing SQL queries and ensuring data integrity and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain SQL databases for use in healthcare applications
Create and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper data backup and recovery procedures
Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand database requirements and provide technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
Develop and maintain database documentation and data dictionaries
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Assist with data migration and integration projects
Support and maintain existing database systems
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles
Experience with SQL Server MySQL and/or Oracle databases
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
Familiarity with database administration and performance tuning
Experience with data migration and integration projects
