We are seeking a highly motivated AI Automation Engineering Intern to support the development and implementation of intelligent automation systems across manufacturing and business operations. This role blends software engineering machine learning and process automation to solve real-world engineering challenges.

- Design and develop AI-driven automation tools to optimize manufacturing workflows
- Build scripts and pipelines to automate repetitive engineering and operational tasks
- Assist in developing machine learning models for predictive maintenance quality control or process optimization
- Integrate AI solutions with existing systems (ERP MES or internal tools)
- Analyze data from manufacturing systems to identify opportunities for automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering IT and operations
- Document processes code and system architectures
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Engineering Data Science or related field
- Experience with programming languages such as Python JavaScript or C
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch or scikit-learn)
- Basic understanding of automation tools APIs or scripting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in manufacturing robotics or industrial automation is a plus
- Experience with computer vision or image processing
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
- Knowledge of data pipelines SQL or data visualization tools
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $22.00 to $24.00 based on the years of schooling undergone.
