JOB DESCRIPTION
The Athletic Training Work-Study assists the Sports Medicine staff with daily operations of the athletic training facility. This position provides valuable exposure to collegiate sports medicine while supporting athletic trainers in maintaining a safe organized and efficient clinical environment.
Essential Duties:
- Clean sanitize and maintain treatment tables equipment and athletic training facilities.
- Stock and organize medical supplies hydration stations and rehabilitation equipment.
- Assist with laundry ice bag preparation and routine clinic setup.
- Help prepare practices and competitions by setting up water coolers and emergency equipment.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing inventory and data entry as assigned.
- Assist with the Nutrition Station in the varisty weight room
- Perform other duties as assigned by the athletic training staff.
Qualifications:
- Eligible for Federal Work-Study employment.
- Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform light physical labor.
- Interest in sports medicine healthcare or athletics is preferred but not required.
