The Sports Club Attendant serves as a visible ambassador of the Club and is committed to delivering personalized service consistent with the luxury standards of Ponte Vedra Inn & School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak read write and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with members guests and & ExperiencePrevious experience in fitness recreation pool operations hospitality country club resort or customer service environments working in a member-focused or guest service environment certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of of fitness equipment operation and pool safety practices KnowledgeStrong customer service and hospitality understanding of fitness equipment and exercise facility of pool safety practices and recreational facility standards to maintain cleanliness organization and facility presentation communication and interpersonal to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced to work independently while maintaining attention to Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain professional appearance grooming and personal hygiene proactive member assistance throughout the fitness center pool deck locker rooms and wellness members and guests while delivering exceptional hospitality and personalized fitness equipment orientations and provide basic equipment instruction as fitness areas to ensure cleanliness safety and proper equipment lap lane pool and outdoor pool deck activities to promote a safe and enjoyable member with swimmer safety awareness and lane management pool deck presentation including lounge chair setup organization and collect restock and maintain towel inventories throughout all Sports Club locker room standards including stocking towels amenities and locker rooms remain clean organized and member-ready throughout operating water service refreshments and other member amenities as members with questions regarding Sports Club facilities services and facility conditions and promptly report maintenance safety or equipment with equipment setup cleanup organization and resets as Sports Club events wellness programs recreation activities and member engagement high visibility throughout assigned areas and proactively engage all safety policies emergency procedures and risk management departmental meetings training sessions and safety meetings as all company policies procedures and departmental operating responsibilities that support Forbes Five-Star AAA Five-Diamond and luxury hospitality service additional duties as assigned by Sports Club RequirementsAbility to stand walk bend and remain active for extended to move throughout the Sports Club pool areas and wellness to lift carry and move up to 30 to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather to perform light cleaning equipment handling and facility setup to work a flexible schedule including early mornings evenings weekends and Part of Something ExtraordinaryAt Ponte Vedra Inn & Club we are committed to creating exceptional experiences for our members and guests through outstanding service wellness and hospitality.
