This position is 20 hours per week working Wednesday from 12:30pm-4:30pm (remote) and Thursday and Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team (PM&R PT OT Neuropsychology Social Work Ortho Urology and Nephrology) to provide care coordination for pediatric and adult patients with Spina Bifida or other related conditions (i.e. tethered cord).
- Partner with patients families case managers outside specialists school nurses etc. to address yearly medical imaging and lab recommendations (as defined by their providers and the Guidelines for the Care of People with Spina Bifida) with an emphasis on fostering sustainability and patient independence.
- Triage and address patient needs daily through various communication platforms (Epic E-mail phone calls).
- Participate in the multidisciplinary clinic every other week.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN or enrolled in a BSN program to be completed within 2 ½ years of hiring date.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required and minimum of 1 year pediatric experience preferred.
- License: Active unencumbered Registered Nurse license from Maryland or a compact state.
- Certification: Current CPR certification that included hands on skills
