Speech Therapist

Location: Rifle CO

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: Day Shift 8 Hour Shifts

Hours: 40 Hours/Week Guaranteed

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to provide speech and language therapy services in a critical access healthcare setting. This role supports patients with communication swallowing and cognitive disorders.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Monitor patient progress and modify therapy interventions accordingly
Educate patients and families regarding communication strategies and therapy exercises
Maintain accurate patient documentation and reports
Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation teams to support patient recovery

Requirements:
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Colorado required
Strong communication and assessment skills required

Preferred:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Previous hospital or rehabilitation experience preferred
Current BLS certification preferred
