Job Description:

Baptist Health Rehab Services provides a full range of physical occupational and speech therapy services for all ages. Our therapists and assistants are trained in treating neurological orthopedic vestibular lymphedema pediatrics industrial medicine swallowing and speech and language disorders.

Speech-Language Pathologist

Full-time Days

Job Description:

• The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for identifying assessing and treating patients with cognitive-communication and/or swallowing disorders.
• The SLP also provides counseling/education to patients caregivers and staff regarding cognitive-communication and/or swallowing disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adults who exhibit cognitive-communication disorders and for neonates infants pediatrics and adults who exhibit feeding/ swallowing disorders.

Requirements:

• Masters Degree-Speech Language Pathology
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Must be obtained within 9 months for full1time employees and 18 months for part-time employees.
• Current and valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Kentucky
• Maintain Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Must obtain BLS within 30 days
