Job Summary

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)
Type: Charter School

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students in a school setting. The SLP will work with students teachers families and school staff to support students communication skills and educational success.

Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual and/or small-group speech and language therapy.
Address articulation language fluency voice and communication needs.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings and assist with developing appropriate goals and services.
Collaborate with teachers families administrators and other school professionals.
Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
Follow applicable special education requirements and school policies.

Qualifications

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.(Preferred)
Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license or appropriate credentials.
CCC-SLP preferred/required as applicable.
School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
Knowledge of IEPs and special education services.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with students and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
