Job Summary
Location: Thornton CO
Pay Rate:Starts at $60/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift: Day Shift (5x8 Hours) 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides speech language communication and swallowing evaluations and therapy services for school-aged students. The SLP collaborates with teachers parents and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students academic and social success. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills experience working in educational settings and a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals.
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Active Speech Language Pathologist License.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations.
Strong communication documentation and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators parents and support staff.
Conduct speech language and communication evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct speech therapy services to students.
Maintain accurate treatment records and progress reports.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Collaborate with teachers parents and school staff.
Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate families and school personnel regarding communication strategies.
Ensure compliance with school state and federal guidelines.
