As a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist you will evaluate and treat patients with communication cognitive and swallowing disorders. Youll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized patient-centered care in accordance with ASHA standards and state licensure requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients within 2448 hours of physician orders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Treat communication cognitive and swallowing disorders
- Communicate with physicians care teams patients and families
- Document evaluations progress and billing accurately
- Participate in care planning and discharge processes
- Provide caregiver and staff training
- Recommend equipment and strategies to support outcomes
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Clinical judgment and problem-solving ability
- High level of professionalism ethics and confidentiality
- Passion for delivering compassionate patient-centered care
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (state-specific)
