Job Summary

The Speech/Language Pathologist assists in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal social and intellectual development of order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students the Speech/Language Pathologist must work closely with the families clients and school districts.

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Lead therapy sessions and provide support to patients and families
  • Document progress and maintain accurate patient records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure best patient outcomes
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in speech and language therapy


Requirements

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with a diverse client population
  • Bilingual proficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and communication devices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Experience in both clinical and educational settings
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Prior clinical experience in pediatric educational or healthcare settings preferred (CFY applicants may be considered).
