Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley California. This hybrid role includes both inpatient acute care and outpatient responsibilities making it an excellent opportunity for clinicians comfortable working independently across diverse patient populations.

Shift Details:

• Day Shift Monday through Friday
• Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• No weekends or on-call required

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
• Provide care in both inpatient acute care and outpatient settings
• Independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
• Develop individualized treatment plans and patient goals
• Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and rehabilitation teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and swallowing safety strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of SLP experience required
• Must be able to work independently
• Active State SLP License required
• CCC-SLP certification required
• BLS certification required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Pending licenses not accepted
