Speech Language Pathologist PRN

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) isseekinga licensed SpeechLanguage Pathologist to join the team at our main hospital in Bolivar MO someone who leads with skill compassion and a drive to positivelyimpactevery patient and family we serve.

• WorkShift:Days
• Hours:16 hours every 2 weeks

What Your Day Looks Like:Equipped with specialized technologies including Balance Master VitalStim and Anodyne the Rehab Services Department works closely with physicians to provide acute and outpatient physical occupational and speech therapy services to restore the functional abilities of patients. Emphasis is placed on collaboration and teamwork and new therapists are encouraged to grow their skills through professional development and mentorship. The department routinely finishes within the 90^th percentile or better in the nation for patient satisfaction.

As aSpeech Therapist you will be:

• Utilizing equipment supplies and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes
• Identifyingpatients appropriate for rehabilitative therapies
• Establishingan effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening
• Developing and implementingtreatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
• Communicating effectively with patients care team members physicians and others
• Writing clear concise legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Experience:New graduates welcome 1 year of experience preferred
• Skills:Problem-solving planning and time-management verbal and non-verbalcommunication basic computer skills ability to work independently and listening skills
• Licensure/Certification:Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts;CurrentState of Missouri Speech Language PathologistLicense
• Physical Requirements:Physical stamina to sit for extended periods walk and move around frequently andlift up to 20 lbs.
