Heartland AEA supports57 public school districts 44 accredited nonpublic schools and 2 charter schoolsacross central Iowa.
This part-time position working a 96-day contract would be based out of ourAnkeny officeservingthe Ankenyschool district.
Collaborate with educators families and multidisciplinary team members to support students communication needs.
Conduct speech-language assessments that are relevant to the presenting concern and meaningful within educational and home contexts.
Plan implement and monitor evidence-based interventions using a variety of service delivery models.
Support the generalization of communication skills across settings through collaboration and consultation.

Licensure:
- Appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examinersthrough theIowa Board of Educational Examiners
Education:
Masters degree in speech pathology or communications disorders from a recognized training institution or qualified by a Statement of Professional Recognition
Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
