Tiverton Public Schools Tiverton Rhode IslandPosition Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (Homebound Medical Instruction)Location: Student home setting within Tiverton RIPosition Type: Part-Time/Per DiemStart Date: Immediate OpeningPosition SummaryTiverton Public Schools is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to student receiving homebound medical instruction. The successful candidate will support student with communication needs through individualized evidence-based interventions designed to promote progress toward IEP goals and continued access to educational Responsibilities*Provide direct speech-language therapy services to student receiving homebound instruction.*Conduct speech and language evaluations and reassessments as required.*Develop implement and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.*Collaborate with family educators related service providers and medical professionals to support student success.*Maintain accurate documentation service logs progress reports and Medicaid billing documentation as applicable.*Participate in IEP Team meetings and provide recommendations regarding speech-language needs and services.*Consult with family and educational staff regarding communication strategies and supports.*Ensure compliance with IDEA Rhode Island Department of Education regulations and district *Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.*Current Rhode Island licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.*Experience working with children with complex disabilities.*Knowledge of special education regulations evaluation procedures and IEP development.*Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills.
