Job Title:Speech-Language Pathologist Assessor

Location:San Francisco Bay Area CA (in-person)
Schedule:Full-Time or Part-Time School Year

About the Role:
Ascend is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Assessor to join our team for the upcoming school this role you will focus on conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-aged students supporting eligibility determinations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in school settings
• Administer and interpret standardized and non-standardized assessment tools
• Write clear compliant evaluation reports and present findings at IEP meetings
• Collaborate with school teams including psychologists teachers and administrators
• Provide recommendations for services goals and accommodations based on assessment results
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Support re-evaluations initial assessments and triennial reviews

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience conducting school-based assessments preferred
• Strong report writing analytical and communication skills
