The Albuquerque Sign Language Academy (ASLA) is in search of a passionate Full-time LicensedSpeech-Language Pathologist who is dedicated to integrating clinical practices to bring out the best learners that students can be.

School Description: As one of the most innovative educational programs in the nation the Albuquerque Sign Language Academy is an award winning nationally recognized ASL/English dual language school that provides deaf hard of hearing and hearing students and families access to a 21st century education that incorporates American Sign Language (ASL) and English in an inclusive environment. All ASLA students- whether hearing deaf or in need of ASL to communicate- learn in ways that better connect them to their family and community. Job Descripton:

• Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language and adaptive communication disorders
• Service students from grades K-12 with support in the Honey-Badger transition program (ages 18-22)

Requirements:

• NMPED License or be able to obtain
• American Sign Language proficiency is not required but preferred
