Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their SpecimenProcessing andAccessioning team in Englewood CO.
Work Schedule:Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm. Overtime as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
Accurately identify and label specimens
Pack and ship specimens toproper testing facilities
Meet department activity andproduction goals
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
Data entry of patient information in anaccurate and timely manner
Resolve and document anyproblem specimens
Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
1 year or more ofexperiencein alab or specimenprocessing
PreferredQualification:
Current or prior Labcorp experience
1 yearor more ofexperiencein amedical/clinical laboratoryexperience
1 year or more ofexperiencein the healthcare industry such as a physicians officeclinicor hospital
1 year of experience in an assembly or manufacturingproduction environment
Additional Job Standards:
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Ability toaccurately identify specimens
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Compensation: $20-$23 per hour plus 2nd shift differential.
All job offers will bebased on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience applicabledegrees/certificationsas well as internal equity and market data.
