Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Problem Resolution Specialist to join our team in Tulsa OK.
Work Schedule: 6pm to 230am Monday to Friday; weekends and holidays as scheduled. 2nd shift differential.
Job Responsibilities:
Act a liaison between the lab clients and patients.
Resolve internal & externalcustomer requests via calls instant messenger & email communications
Communicates withcustomers in respectful and professional manner.
Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
Providecustomer education and information as needed.
Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.
Accurately identify and label specimens.
Pack and ship specimens as necessary.
Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
6 months ormore ofexperiencein the healthcare industry such as a physicians officeclinic or hospital
PreferredQualification:
Current or prior Labcorp experience
Associates degreeor higher
6 monthsormore ofexperienceincustomer service
Additional Job Standards:
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Well-versed in applications like Microsoft Outlook Excel Word and willingness to learn new applications
Ability tolift upto 40lbs.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
