We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OB/GYN clinic located in Des Moines IA. The RN will work collaboratively with our team of physicians advanced practice providers and support staff to deliver high-quality patient-centered care across a range of obstetric and gynecologic services. This role requires clinical expertise excellent communication skills and a passion for womens health.

• Provide direct patient care including assessments education and triage in an OB/GYN setting.

• Support providers with in-office procedures (e.g. colposcopies IUD insertions biopsies).

• Administer medications and injections including vaccines and hormone therapies as prescribed.

• Assist with prenatal care postpartum follow-ups and routine gynecologic visits.

• Educate patients about reproductive health pregnancy contraception and preventive care.

• Triage patient phone calls and messages assessing urgency and coordinating appropriate follow-up.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Ensure compliance with all clinical policies procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with front desk and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling.

• Participate in ongoing staff education quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa (required).

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong interest or experience in womens health

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• For positions within UnityPoint Clinic team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing
