The RN Lactation Consultant is an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team providing expert lactation support to patients and families across Womens Services and Pediatric care settings. This role is responsible for assessing planning coordinating and evaluating individualized breastfeeding and infant feeding plans including breastfeeding assistance and breast pump support. The RN Lactation Consultant provides education to patients families and staff conducts daily bedside lactation rounds and serves as a clinical resource and advocate for evidence-based breastfeeding practices to promote positive maternal and infant outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing required
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification required
• RN work experience required
• IBCLC certification required

Salary Range: Minimum 43.61/hour - Maximum 67.59/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
