Focus & Scope
Essential duties and responsibilities i.e. those which are basic necessary and an integral part of the job are indicated below:
- Inspect diagnose and repair specialty construction equipmentboth gas and dieselincluding hydraulicand electrical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenancein accordance withmanufacturer specifications safety standards and company policies.
- Assistsin loading andunloadingequipment forinternal and externalcustomers.
- Safelyoperatea wide range of small tools and construction-related equipment.
- Maintainsaccurateinventory recordsincludingrepairscompleted parts ordered andstock levels.
- Serve as lead for the Small Tools shop coordinating the work of crew members to ensuretimelycompletion of tasks.
- Collaborate with field operations to ensurespecialty tools and equipment are available serviced and ready for use.
- Maintain up-to-date vehicle service and maintenance records.
- Supportcompanyszero-injurysafety culture by adhering to safety programs attending training and ensuring equipment ismaintainedto the highest safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and operational needs.

Education:
- A High School diploma or G.E.D. or an equivalent combination of trainingeducationand experience.
- Minimum of three to five(3-5)yearsofexperience in the operation repair and maintenance of small equipment both diesel and gasoline type engines and hydraulic equipmentpreferred.
- Construction industry experiencea plus.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug alcohol and background investigation.
- Current on allcompany requiredsafety training.
- Ability to preserve confidential and proprietary information andavoidconflicts-of-interest.
- Must be willing to work overtime weekends and holidays asrequired.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and tools such as Service truck; including skid steer tractors mini excavators air compressors generators under 25kw pneumatic tools chain saw cut off saw water pumps vibratory compactors electronic motors light towers message boards utility trailers vacuum trailers miscellaneous hand and power tools for construction use.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong ability tomaintainconstruction tools.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals schematics and service bulletins.
- Ability to consistently appear for work on time.
- Thorough knowledge of small toolsto includehydraulics and small engine equipment both gas and diesel.
- Working knowledge of safety practices and procedures while making mechanical repairs.
- Working knowledge of automated Foley Grinding Equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot diagnose and repair equipment with accuracy and speed ability to create effective working relationships with employees; ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Equipment Used Physical Demands and Work Environment
Equipment Used:
- General office equipment telephoneautomobilepersonal protective equipment ( glasses hearing protection)when visiting plants.
- Physical Sittingforlong periodsof time working on the computer or attending meetings. Job site visits require walking on uneven groundsteep slopes and exposure to extreme temperature and/or ofmaterials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Work Environment: Work Environment: Typicaloffice environment with adequate temperatures and lighting low levels of noise. Demands of meeting tight deadlines. Exposed tothe conditions of job sites which can include loud noise dust fumes and extreme weather conditions prevalent at the time. May work various hours including early morningsduskor evenings.
