Job Summary

Purpose
TheSpecialty Equipment Inventory Clerkprovidesefficient and effective support for field this role providesmaintains and tracks the equipment tools and supplies of theSpecialty Equipment and Small Tools Warehouses.

Focus & Scope
Essential duties and responsibilities i.e. those which are basic necessary and an integral part of the job are indicated below:
  1. Actively support fieldoperationsgoals andobjectivesthrough completing assignments on time and accurately providing ongoing support and proactively resolving challenges and issues.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact for queriesregardingspecialty equipment and small tools.
  3. Ensure that equipment is in working order and prepared for service for the field operations. Lead thecheck inandcheck outprocess of equipment properly documenting status of the asset and job/employee checking it out.
  4. Oversee equipment inventory management across the region ensuringaccurateand efficient tracking and implementing best practices in equipment inventory control.
  5. Maintainaccuraterecords of all assets on the property including receiving release and reconciliation of damaged that need to be replaced repaired and/or serviced prior to redistribution.
  6. Ensureaccurateidentification and labeling of equipment as well as verifying telematic installation and verification.
  7. Collaborates across functions and supports consistent technical practices and administrative to policies procedures and standards that protect the companys interests.
  8. Assistswith ensuring that field operations have the tools equipment and supplies with others tomaintainan adequate inventory andensureequipment is in good working order and is delivered or availablein a timely manner.
  9. Maintains small tool warehouse inventory if applicable: receives and stores tools; tracks company-owned and rented equipment; coordinates repairs to existing tools; processes documents and invoices related topurchasingand repairing equipment.
  10. Responsible for completion of internal administrative organization and documentation including tracking receiving documents logs work orders and others asrequired.

Role Qualifications & Requirements

Education:
  • A High School diploma or G.E.D. or an equivalent combination of trainingeducationand experience.
Experience and Industry Expertise:
  • Minimumtwo (2)years ofexperience in or knowledge of construction tools equipment and warehouse inventory preferred.
  • Experience in construction equipment managementhighlydesired.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtainrequired.

Specific Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors year-round with varying schedules dependent upon field operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively andmaintainaccuraterecords with a strong attention to detail.
  • Successful completion ofa pre-employment drug alcohol and background investigation
  • Current onallcompanyrequiredsafety training
  • Ability to preserve confidential and proprietary information andsuccessfully avoidconflicts-of-interest
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong ability tomaintainconstruction tools
  • Knowledge of Standard Operating Policies and Procedures

Equipment Used Physical Demands and Work Environment

Equipment Used:
  • General office equipment telephoneautomobilepersonal protective equipment ( glasses hearing protection)when visiting plants.
Physical Demands & WorkEnvironment: The physical demands and workenvironmentcharacteristics are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Physical: Sittingforlong periodsof time working on the computer or attending meetings. Job site visits require walking on uneven groundsteep slopes and exposure to extreme temperature and/or ofmaterials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Work Environment: Typicaloffice environment with adequate temperatures and lighting low levels of noise. Demands of meeting tight deadlines. Exposed to the conditions of job sites which can include loud noise dust fumes and extreme weather conditions prevalent at the time. May work various hours including early morningsduskor evenings.

HOURLY BASE SALARY RANGE:
$27.24 - $38.14
The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonable expects to pay for the position. The actual base salary is subject to variation due to the role level geographic location relevant education training or experience among other factors.
