Job Summary
Position Summary
Provides administrative and program support for technology and standards activities. This is a non-exempt position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide program support for CTAs ANSI Accreditation to include submitting ANSI forms and maintaining publication data.
- Provide program support including tracking meeting attendance coordination with third party vendors database/collaboration tool support and other areas as assigned.
- Provide administrative and meeting planning support for Technology & Standards events (e.g. Forum PlugFest HealthFuture CES WAVE) to include registration reports attendance tracking and other administrative tasks. Some event travel may be required.
- Provide pre/post data collection and reporting for CTAs Plugfest.
- Assist with Technology & Standards invoice and contract processing.
- Work with Membership Department and T&S managers to solicit standards participation to new CTA members.
- Answer inquiries to or from call center regarding obtaining standards committee memberships document retrieval etc.
- Keep CTA Website up-to-date by maintaining information on Technology & Standards News page.
- Support T&S Staff in management of groups of industry volunteers to provide direction facilitation and mediation related to industry standards. This includes: coordination scheduling and organizing meetings developing agendas production of meeting minutes compliance with ANSI/CTA due process and editing/publishing
- documents.
- Provide general office management functions maintain department records and documents through online databases and office networks write
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of work experience in an association or technology organization standardization program.
- Project management experience preferred.
Education/Trainings:
- Bachelors degree preferred or commensurate experience
Skills/Capabilities/Technical:
- Must have high level of organization and possess the ability to prioritize competing projects while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Must be an effective communicator with strengths in both oral and written communications.
- Fluency in MS Office.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interest in consumer technology and the industry.
- Superior customer focus with ability to represent CTA during interactions with members.
- Association or standards experience a plus.
- Must be able to travel.

Compensation & Benefits
CTA is committed to transparency and equitable pay practices. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70000 - $80000 with final compensation determined based on experience skills and internal equity. This role may be eligible for bonus or additional compensation where applicable.
