Learn more about Campus Life at and learn more about Student Union Activities Board at Student Union Activities Specialist is responsible for holistic advisement and support to student leaders within the Student Union Activities Board (SUAB) at Oklahoma State University. This position plays a key role in guiding student members through the planning execution and evaluation of campus events while fostering their personal and professional development. This role supports student development by providing guidance through weekly meetings assisting with leadership training and aligning student activities with career readiness initiatives. The position also leads marketing strategies and social media efforts assists with data collection and assessment practices and contributes to strategic planning and evaluation. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining inventory records ensuring compliance with university purchasing guidelines and supporting collaborative efforts across campus units.
- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Four years of related work experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience
Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Demonstrated translatable coursework or experiential learning.
- Ability to work independently multi-task and coordinate numerous detailed programs that may occur within a short time frame of one another.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully with multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Ability to assist in program set up and take down including but not limited to moving tables chairs and other equipment.
- Bachelors
- One year of experience in student development advising coaching or related area.
