Job Description:

L3Harris is actively seeking a talented Overhead Finance Specialist to join our Spectrum Superiority (S2) Sector team available in Salt Lake City UT. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and Forecasting:Support the planning and forecasting of internal departments overhead expense budgets.
• Collaboration:Partner with internal business partners to ensure forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities.
• Executive Reporting:Prepare and present financial data for executive updates and conduct weekly finance reviews.
• Strategic Financial Support:Provide strategic financial support variance analysis and involvement in special projects.

Essential Functions:

• Partner with finance and internal business partners to prepare and manage department budgets and headcount.
• Prepare and review monthly forecasts ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior management.
• Analyze historical and current trends and provide variance analysis.
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.
• Interpret complex financial data to deliver actionable recommendations for management decision-making.
• Produce clear and precise weekly and monthly financial outlooks and ensure timely submittals.
• Maintain high attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with 4 years prior experience 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
• Extensive experience with and understanding of financial processes and systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Experience with ERP systems preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work with people of all levels within the organization.
