Job Description Summary
The Specialist F-1 Student Support and Special Program Admissions is responsible for evaluating all international transfer credit coordinating the admission of F-1 students to the College serving as the Colleges Designated School Official ( DSO ) maintaining all appropriate Student and Exchange Visitor Information System ( SEVIS ) reporting and records and understanding United States Customs and Immigration Services ( USCIS ) requirements as it relates to F-1 students. Additionally this position is responsible for coordinating the admission process for nursing and allied health petitioners.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associates degree or higher required. Two years of higher education experience required specifically in a college or university registrars office or in another higher education student services office. Experience with SEVIS and supporting F-1 students preferred. Spanish fluency preferred.
