Job Summary

Job Summary

Provides specialized support for elementary Career and Technical Education (CTE) initiatives with a primary focus on teaching K2 students in the Mobile CTE Lab overseeing mobile lab operations coordinating projects and supporting the implementation of engaging hands-on career exploration experiences. Ensures CTE programs are supported through instructional coaching professional development and teacher training while also assisting the Director of Career and Technical Education with the management and coordination of program operations. Position may also include the option to operate the Mobile CTE Lab vehicle; CDL not required.

Essential Functions

1. Facilitates curriculum writing alignment and implementation of Career and Technical Education programs; models best practices.
2. Serves as a liaison between the CTE office and the schools.
3. Supports CTE in all aspects of design and implementation.
4. Coordinates and/or conducts staff development for curriculum implementation of Career and Technical Education.
5. Communicates vision and goals to school faculty staff and builds CTE program support.
6. Must be willing drive to schools.
7. Coordinates/facilitates professional learning communities.
8. Locates and assists with purchasing appropriate resources instructional materials supplies and equipment.
9. Assists with marketing communication and recruitment efforts.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.(Masters Degree Preferred)
Experience: Five (5) years successful teaching experience.
Certifications & Licenses: Florida Department of Education Certification or in a Career and Technical Education program.
