About the role
As part of the Operations Accounting team the Accounting & Controllership Specialist will execute and provide analysis for accounting processes such as financial reporting sales program reserves market funds dealer income extension and balance sheet management. Responsible for developing and documenting accounting financials procedures and control processes.
This position follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate and maintain large data liability model for Dealer Income Extension program. Solicit feedback from key stakeholders to provide ad hoc reporting on reserve as needed.
- Manage all aspects of ICP Market Fund program including associated journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and admin responsibilities for Vistex program to facilitate claiming from the distributor network.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to obtain understanding of annual and short-term sales programs entered into with customers and ensure proper accounting.
- Prepare monthly accounting journal entries and account reconciliations associated with key responsibilities listed above.
- Work with BU Controllers and business partners to establish and maintain robust internal controls environment.
- Supports internal and external audits for process compliance and timely completion.
- Maintain accounting standard work documentation.
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- CPA/CMA/MBA preferred
- Advanced knowledge of accounting disciplines within work area and able to identify links and potential impact on projects programs and systems
- Knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting standards
- Demonstrated experience working in SAP and advanced MS Excel and Access
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Sense of urgency self-initiative dedication and sense of ownership
- Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize
- Strong oral and written communication skill and proven presentation skills
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79000.00 - $158000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include but are not limited to skills education experience and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.Other Compensation
Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.Benefits
