Special Projects Research ScientistEngineer (Robotics)

This position requires a hands-on approach integrating software and hardware solutions to push the boundaries of perception control and intelligence. Implement and train state-of-the-art ML models for perception and controlnOptimize and deploy ML models on physical systemsnWork with various sensor modalitiesnTroubleshoot complex problems across the complete stack from high-level software to low-level hardware issuesnCollaborate with mechanical electrical and software engineers to create functional and aesthetically refined systems. nIterate quickly based on feedback technical constraints and functional requirements. nDocument research findings methodologies and technical developments for internal knowledge sharing and external publications.

Bachelors Masters or PhD in Computer Science Robotics Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related proficiency in Python and C with experience in complex multi-language in ML algorithms and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and with perception control and sensor software engineering skills delivering clean well-tested and optimized problem-solving skills and ability to iterate quickly based on user feedback and technical constraints.

Familiarity with reinforcement learning planning algorithms autonomous navigation and full-body motion controlnHands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks Fusion 360) and fabrication (3D printing CNC machining etc.).nKnowledge of PCB design embedded systems and sensor integration
