BAYADA is hiring Special Needs Caregivers in York and surrounding this role youll work one-on-one in home and community settings supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities as a trusted companion and mentor helping them build skills confidence and independence.
- Support participation in community activities
- Empower clients to live independently and reach their full potential
- Assist with personal care (dressing grooming)
- Provide transportation to appointments errands and community activities
- Engage in hobbies activities and meaningful companionship
- Pay starting at $18-19/hour
- Weekly pay

- High school diploma or equivalent (18)
- One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
(Training may be available through our apprentice program if you dont have experience) - Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities
