Werelooking for individuals with stronginitiative who will perform construction observation and materials testingserviceson various projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Following proper procedures

• Completing workin a timely manner

• Prepare daily field observation reports and materials testing data sheets

• Performingaccuratecomputations

• Maintaining cordial relationships with coworkers clients contractors etc.

This position may require travel from time to time.

Consideration for this position requiresthefollowing certifications or experience:

• 4yearminimum of construction materials testing or inspection experience

• ICC Reinforced Concrete

• ACI ConcreteField-TestingTechnician Grade 1

• Radiationsafety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge

• 4yearminimum of soils observation and testing

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid drivers license withagood drivingrecord

• Able to use a company provided laptop or tablet computer and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g.Word Excel Outlook etc.)

• A good workethic andhigh levelof personal integrity

• Authorization to work in the United States

In addition to the above required certifications hiring preference will be given to those with any of the following desired certifications:

• ICC Soils Special Inspector

• Caltrans Testing Certifications

• ICC Structural Steel and Bolting

• CWI

• ICCStrucutralMasonry

• ICCFireproofing

• FRP

• IFC Fire Stopping

Following an offer candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials a motor vehicle report (MVR) and a comprehensive background check.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Hourly Range:$30.39 - $50.72.
