Job Summary
Boothby Therapy Services is hiring multiple Special Education Teachers for full-time school-based positions in Turner Maine for the school year.
We are partnering with local schools to fill a variety of special education caseloads across grade levels and student populations. Placements may include early childhood elementary middle school life skills behavioral support and other specialized programs. We work closely with candidates to match educators with roles that align with their experience strengths and professional preferences.

Responsibilities may vary slightly depending on placement and student population but may include:
- Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop implement and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals and academic standards
- Collaborate with general education teachers related service providers administrators and families
- Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
- Support students with academic behavioral communication social-emotional and functional needs
- Ensure compliance with federal state and district special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings team meetings and professional development
- Foster supportive inclusive learning environments for all students
- Bachelors degree in Special Education (minimum)
- Valid Maine Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility)
- Experience working with special education students in school-based settings preferred
- Openings available for educators with experience across a range of populations and grade levels
