Special Education Teacher Setting III

Position Information:

• 1.0 FTE
• Starting date: August 10 2026
• Daily Hours: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Grades 8-12
• Develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the academic functional and behavioral needs of studentsin aspecial education setting; evaluates and assesses student academic functional and behavioral progress; functions as IEP manager to assigned students; directs the work of paraprofessionals;collaborates with other service providers and educators.

Rate of Pay:
Based on the candidates experience and education per the ALEA Master Agreement.

Support provided for special education team members:

• Due Process Clerk to support scheduling of team meetings and ensuring attendance by all members.
  • Maintaining databases and timelines as well as providing support for due process forms.

Qualifications Required:

• Minnesota Teaching license in the area ofSpecial Education or the ability to obtain one.
