Special Education Teacher

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support an Affective Needs classroom in Northglenn CO. This role focuses on providing structured individualized instruction and behavioral support to students with emotional and behavioral needs in a highly supportive environment.

The classroom serves a small caseload of approximately 8 10 students allowing for meaningful relationship-building and targeted intervention to support both academic and social-emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in an Affective Needs classroom setting
• Implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Support students with emotional behavioral and academic needs
• Foster a structured safe and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with school staff and support teams to ensure student success

Support & Environment:

• Paraprofessional (para) support available in the classroom
• Collaborative school-based team environment
• Focus on structured behavioral and academic interventions
