TITLE OF POSITION: Otsego High School Special Education Teacher Level 2 (0.2 FTE)
STARTING DATE: 2026-2027 School Year
CLOSING DATE: September 8 2026
Primary tasks (non-exhaustive list):
- Instruct students with special needs using alternate achievement standards focusing on functional and independence in addition to addition pushing support into the general education classroom in order to meet students varying needs.
- Collaborate with other teachers or administrators to develop evaluate or revise school support services.
- Confer with other staff members to plan or schedule lessons promoting learning following approved alternative curricula.
- Confer with parents administrators social workers or other professionals to develop individual educational plans (IEPs) for students educational functional and social development.
Requirements:
- Special Education K-12 Certification with one disability endorsement
- Experience in the secondary school setting preferred
