Elementary Autism Program Teacher (LBS1) Grades 35 Illinois
Help Students Grow Through Individualized Learning
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois elementary school to hire a full-time Special Education Teacher for a self-contained 3rd5th grade autism classroom. This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys creating structured learning environments and implementing individualized strategies that help students develop academically socially and functionally.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Develop implement and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Work collaboratively with therapists support staff administrators and families.
- Track student growth through ongoing progress monitoring and documentation.
- Differentiate lessons to meet a variety of learning styles and developmental needs.
- Provide specialized instruction to students in grades 35 within a self-contained classroom.
- Promote communication independence positive behavior and meaningful classroom participation.
Requirements
- Excellent organization flexibility and communication skills.
- At a minimum a Bachelors degree in Special Education or a closely related discipline.
- Background working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder is strongly preferred.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement.
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a positive student-focused mindset.
