Minimum Criteria:
- Hold a valid NYS teaching certificate in tenure area:Special Education Grades K-12 Birth 2 or Grades 1-6;
- Possess a thorough knowledge of field;
- Demonstrate initiative enthusiasm and good judgment;
- Demonstrate the ability to plan and organize for effective teaching and learning;
- Understand the nature and needs of the age group served;
- Able to develop and maintain productive human relationships;
- Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.
