Urgently Hiring: Special Education Teacher
Austin Full Time (On-Site) $60000-$80000
Were urgently hiring Special Education Teachers across Texas to support some of the regions most inclusive student-centered public charter schools. These teams prioritizehigh-quality IEP practices individualized instruction and school cultures where teachers are supported respected and empowered.
What Youll Do
- Lead specialized instruction for students with diverse and intensive learning needs
- Build structured predictable and joyful classroom environments
- Collaborate with general education teachers behavior teams and paraprofessionals
- Use data to drive progress toward IEP goals and ensure truly individualized supports
Special Education Roles Were Filling
- Low-Incidence Special Education Teachers (Elementary Middle & High School)
- High-Incidence Special Education Teachers
- Content Specialists (Math ELA) supporting Special Education teams
Requirements
- Texas teaching certification (Special Education EC12 or appropriate SPED certification)
- Austin area residency
- Background check clearance
Compensation
$60000$80000 depending on experience and education (direct hire with school partner). Benefits included.
