Special Education Classroom Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our elementary (3rd-5th) team for the 2026-27 school year. We currently have an upper elementary (3-5) opening but may be adding to the special education team in middle and early childhood as well. Starting salary for certified educators is $60000.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.

- Collaborate with general education teachers parents and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support.

- Monitor and assess student progress regularly adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

- Create a positive engaging and safe classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development.

- Maintain accurate records of student performance and compliance with district and state regulations.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Missouri Certification in Special Education
