Spanish Language Linguist Translator

Amentum is seeking a Spanish Language Linguist / Interpreter to support the Joint Interagency Task Force Counter Cartel (JIATF-CC) in Tucson AZ. JIATF-CC operates under U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) to enhance intelligence surveillance and operational coordination in counter-cartel and counter-transnational criminal organization this role you will deliver actionable intelligence ISR tactical support and facilitate interagency collaboration to directly impact national security. Join our team and play a critical part in securing the southern border and disrupting transnational threats.

Primary Job Duties:

• Provide Spanish-language simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for meetings andoperational coordination.
• Provide written translation and review of analytic operational and intelligence products.
• Provide interpretation support at the General/Flag Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES)level.
• Operate Sennheiser (or equivalent) interpretation equipment.
• Translate technical documents containing military intelligence and law enforcement terminology.
• Maintain engagement records and translation/interpretation activity logs.
• Responsible for assisting in the development of intelligence planning intelligencesystems architecture requirements and intelligence training.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI Eligibility (TS SCI). Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Bachelors degree from acollege or university accredited by andaccrediting body recognized by the of Education.
• Must possess a minimum Level 4(Full Professional Proficiency) in both reading and speaking as measured by the DefenseLanguage Proficiency Test (DLPT) Foreign Service Institute (FSI) scale or equivalent Government-recognized assessment. Documentation of proficiency shall be provided to theGovernment upon request.
