About the Job:

The Chaplain provides spiritual emotional existential and religious support to patients families and staffin accordance with the mission values and standards of Southern New Hampshire Health (SNHH). TheChaplain offers care that is respectful of each persons beliefs culture tradition identity and spiritual or
non-spiritual worldview.

What Youll Do:

• Work is performed on-site

• Provide spiritual emotional and existential care to patients families and staff in response toillness crisis trauma grief death uncertainty moral distress and major life transitions.

• Participate in on-call coverage including weekday overnight weekend and holiday rotation asassigned by the department.

• Must be able to work assigned shifts and adapt to changing patient care needs.

• Respond promptly to urgent and emergent requests including deaths codes traumas end-of life situations family crises staff crises and other time-sensitive spiritual care needs.

Who You Are:

• Bachelors degree intheology Spiritual CareReligious Studies or a closely
  related field required.

• Based on the scope ofposition a minimum of two(2) units of Clinical PastoralEducation (CPE) is required.
